Stolen Alpine Gear…Bummer Man

Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning (Jan 15/14), my car was broken into in Canmore Alberta. My 80lb North Face Duffel Bag/Backpack full of ski equipment was stolen.

Grouse Mtn Tyee Ski Jacket and pants, several Lake Louise World Cup volunteer jackets and pants, some Whistler Ski club jackets and poncho, Mount Washington Snow Pro vest, 2 head lamps, leather gloves, brand new race helmut, 2 pairs goggles…shit, the list goes on.

I was getting ready to leave for Whistler where I will be working on the slopes for the remainder of the season. All I have left is my ski boots and 4 pairs of skis. I will have to buy new stuff. Took me years to collect all that gear.

Really no use to anyone, really. Everything has logos attached.

For a few dollars more, this film starts off Western Style but moves into some awesome ski footage. Bring on the winter!

Summer Training

Been having those ski dreams! That time of year for me. This has prompted me to start training. Back in the gym again throwing weights around, sweating on the cardio equipment and taking yoga classes.

Always good to have a goal and work towards something. Looking forward to another epic season…can’t come soon enough!
